FATAL: Caught OutOfMemoryError! Node will exit with exit code 666

Dear buddies,

we encountered the failure of "FATAL: Caught OutOfMemoryError! Node will exit with exit code 666". And we had followed the sap notes 723909 with configtool to change the JVM parameters of heap size. however we were not sure which node to modify, server or instance?

we had only changed the server node, such as -XX:MaxPermSize=512M

-XX:PermSize=512M -Xms2048M, but it did not work well.

Hope anyguy can help us out.

Generally OOM will cause memory dump.

You can check in you cluster folder which node have the dump file.
