Cluster Upgrade

Hi All,

We are performing an Cluster upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0.

Our database is SQL 2005.

Please provide us some valuable input so that our upgrade goes smoothly.

    Hi Imran,

    Please go throght page number 102 and page 139 of upgrade guide and also see the note number 867521that will provide you lot of information.

    In phase CONF CHECK you need to enter the VIRTUAL HOST and VIRTUAL DB HOST name as the will be running on one of the nodes.

    http://service.sap.com/instguides

    It contains specific sections for upgrades on cluster systems.

    Thanks for the info Markus.

    I have gone through those sections.

    Was just trying to know if there is any specific information that anyone can provide out of their experience on cluster upgrade.

    Anything in perticular to be taken into consideration. This is a production upgrade and I want to gather as much info as I can on this so that we could not miss out on anything.

    If anyone have done cluster upgrade on sql then please share your experience.
