Activate the monitoring of a table in BW

Hi,

During the UpdateStats task in DB13, I get this warning message :

<i>BR0988W Bitmap index /BIC/FZCOEP~040 selected for checking statistics - please activate the monitoring attribute for table SAPBWP./BIC/FZCOEP</i>

Can someone explain me how to do that ? Is there something to set in DB17 ?

Hi Alex,

Hope you are using Oracle with CBO ( Cost Based Optimiser) and during the update stat job the optimiser does not have any information on the newly created index FZCOEP~040.. This is just a warning....Once you schedule the Chck optimser job in DB13, this warning will not occur next time....

This is just a warning that a newly created index does not have an updated optmiser stats....once you update the optimiser, the warning will go away.
