ABAP Certification

Hi i am having 2+ yrs exp in ABAP, planning to take a certification.

Can any body tell what is the basic certification in ABAP, because when i go thru the SAP site i find 4 different certifications.

1. SAP Certified Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver 2004 - Application Development Focus ABAP

2. SAP Certified Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver - ABAP Workbench (2003) - Should be the older one

3. SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP System Integration with SAP NetWeaver 7.0

4. SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0

Being thsi my first certification which one can i opt. Can any one please tell me?

    Hi Prathyusha,

    As a beginner to ABAP, I was directed by Siemens SAP ATC to take up the following certification, after completion of which, I joined as an abap technical consultant:

    <b>SAP Certified Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver 2004 - Application Development Focus ABAP</b>

    I believe that this is the most basic one. However, I would suggest you to clarify this from an authorized training centre before you finalize.

      Oh, in that case, I am not much aware. You may get in touch with some authorized training centres. They will surely be knowing the most appropriate choice. But please be aware at the same time. Coz, lately there were cases where people got mislead from the right course even by authorized centres. Hope this information helps. All the very best to you.
