BR267E Asynchronous execution of program failed.

Hi,

I am taking whole system online backup of my Production System on daily basis.Tonight it got cancelled.I am atatching the error:

BR268E Asynchronous execution of program interrupted, exit status: c0000005

BR267E Asynchronous execution of program failed

I searched over net and gor this thing:::

BR267W Asynchronous execution of program failed.

BR267E Asynchronous execution of program failed.

<b>Explanation:</b> The asynchronous execution of a subprogram failed. This error can occur, for example, when you use several devices for asynchronous copy processes. The message does not mean that the subprogram reported an error, but rather that the program could not be called properly.

<b>Program response:</b> Processing is continued (BR267W) or terminated (BR267E).

<b>User action:</b> Analyze and correct the error(s) and then repeat the operation.

But I was not able to extract anything from this.

Please guide me reagrding this.

    please supply your full backup log.

    are you using a third party program?

    are you using multiple tape drives?

    are you using a tape library/changer?

    Hello,

    SAP Note 162975 may be helpful.

    Please ensure you do not use a block size bigger than 32KB

    As Eric said, you need to check out the detailed backup log and if possible post the same.

    Please post the /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup/<.anf file>

    exit status c0000005 indicates an ACCESS VIOLATION (program crash).

    If you are not using the newest br*tools - update to the newest version.

    If you already are using the latest version ---> it is time to open a call at http://service.sap.com
