ESS WebDynpro in Portal - all language specific applications must run ?

Hi folks,

we are using the Business Package for ESS. When deploying the BP to the portal, you find a really huge list of started WebDynpro applications providing the same functionality for different languages.

Example (to be seen in -> Content-Administration -> Web Dynpro -> Content Administrator -> Deploeyd Content -> sap.com ):

sap.com/ess_araddr

sap.com/ess_auaddr

sap.com/ess_beaddr

etc.etc.

As we only use and will only use one language (german) in the portal, i am asking myself, if all these running applications are really needed ? We only need "sap.com/ess_deaddr". Won't it be better for the server to disable/undeploy all the others ?

Why are they all running ?

Would be nice to have an official SAP statement regarding this issue.
