Deletion of ECC material group not replicated to SRM50 :(

Hi,

I have replicated material group from ECC60 to SRM50 SP9.

Now i have deleted one of the ECC material group.

I ran R3AS again for dnl_cust_prod1 and all is green.

Issue is that the deleted material group still exist as product category in SRM !

Any idea ?

Hi Yann,

the middleware will not delete the material group in the SRM when it was deleted in ERP.

It was designed in this way, because the material group is a master data object and could be used in existing documents.

It is only possible to delete the material group manually in comm_hierarchy.

Hi Dennis,

That was my fear...

I have opened an OSS ticket as i do think that you should be able to delete a master data from the master system. If material group is used in a document, an error message could be issued.
