Production Order

Hi all!

After creating a production order, im changing the status into 'released' for im going to issue components. (im aware tht we can directly issue child items by right clicking and opting issue components)

now when opening the 'Receipt for Production order' the receipt for parent item is enabled. can we hav this option disabled untill issual of child items?

    Hello,

    Try to read this following :

    Released – You change the production order status to Released when you release the production order to the shop floor for production. At that stage, you can report transactions for the production order and issue of the components. You can update the component items as long as there are no transactions for the selected component. You can also add a new component.

    Released - you release the production order to the shop floor for work. This is the status at which receipts and issues are transacted

    Actually, you could make disabled the receipt production order by using a combination of some UDF and FMS. So, one of UDF is set to be mandatory that contains N in the columns, means No. If it disappears, it will block the receipt from production. Th eindicator is qty issued UDF/column.

    Jimmy/Meera,

    It is better to give the UDF at header level as it is not feasible at line level if you have line items more than 50....

    and can we attach a query to restrict the Issue of Production if the UDF which is provided in Header of production order is not Updated?

    and also if we achive this then another problem arises that partly issues will not be allowed.

    Let me know that pleaase.... and that too with FMS it is possible it is gud
