Hi all,
I am going through a problem, where all my consultants have saved their Change requests as local and released them,
but i could not found it in QAS server.
I defined the transport routes and created the request it worked fine,
now is there any way so that i can move all request to QAS.
Please input your suggestions
Regards,
SM
Hi,
As mentioned by Gopinath as well. It seems the change request has been created with a associate Package with a incorrect transport layer. Please have it changed using SE80 to the correct transport layer as per your transport route. Ask your developers to create new transport requests and include the requests from the local change requests and release the same. it shd go through fine to your QAS queue.

Hai,
So you have 200 change req. in some Packages(that is not transport enable). First directly you can edit these packages in SE80 and assign the proper transport layer. Once you edit this one, All the CR's under these packages will become transport enabled. Or otherwise you can create a new Zpackage and you can assign all the objects to this new package with the bellow options.
Goto SE80 > open the Old Packages> under select the objects whichever you want to transport--> Right click --> More Functions --> Change package assignments --> it will ask the package name > give your new package here.> so the objects will move to the new package --> then you can release those objects..
i hope it will be helpful to you.

Gopinathan.
Hi Shark,
When you setup STMS then u will get two transport routes one is
z<sid> and the other is SAP.When you create a 'Z' package you should map this to the Z<sid> transport route but not to SAP. transport route SAP is only for standard SAP objects. Don't try to use this for ur custom developed packages.
Reward points if helpfull.

Vamshi.
Hai,
Ask your consultants while creating a Package in SE80 they have to specify the Transport Layer (b/n DEV to QAS) which is in the form like Z<SID>. Once they have fill all the required details, the Package will be a Transportable Package. otherwise it will be a local only..
I hope this will solve your problem..

Gopinathan.

Your consultant can copy objects from released local request to new transportable request.

Hi SM,
Local change requests are not transportable as they don't create data files or cofiles;
You need to ask your developers to create new workbench or customize transports in order to be able to send them to your QAS system
