Hi,
I'm wondering if it possible to create flat file source (.txt) where the number of columns can change.
For example: I have file: Department.txt which has 10 columns and I use it to create DataFlow. But the number of columns in file department.txt can be changed for example into 11 columns etc.
Is it possible to handle it without manually update flat file connection every time when source file will be changed?

My BO 4.2

regards

Hi Rad Nap,

i guess it is possible, set Adaptable schema to YES in flatfile editor and dont use query transform or any other transform in between source and target. and target must be a flat file.

Hi,

thank you for reply.
Unfortunatelly my target table is HANA table (I now in HANA I have to update manually my calculation view) probably I could use MS SQL table as target also.

Hi Rad Nap,

You can use template table as target.
