Rounding P Tax

Hi Experts,

How to get a rounded amount of PTax for an employee. PTax is Rs 2500 per year and it comes to Rs 208.33 per month . I want the rounded amount to com in payslip.

Please Advise.

Hi Tomesh,

This is possible through the BAdI: Determine Basis for Professional Tax under Professional Tax., and I think is not possible through standard

Take the help of an ABAPer to get this done.

Can you plz. help me to solve this Rounding off issue.

Basic, conveyance, composite and Ptax amounts to be get round off. I'm trying threw V_T511, varient B and devisor 100 and 0 also. but no change.

Check in wage type Characteristics...V_T511 in Rounding Type. Might be helpful.

Hi Manu,

Thanks for your inputs. But this table contains only Model and customized wagetypes and PTax comes in "/3P1 ".

Is there any way where we can define like for 11 months PTax should be deducted @ Rs 200 and in the last Rs 300 , so that a total of 2500 is recovered.

Dear All,

Kindly help on above issue...as we are facing same problem.

Kindly advice how to adjust 300/- in month of FEB.

Professional Tax for the Month February2008should be Rs 300/- & Total for the Year should be Rs 2500/- if the Gross Salary exceeds Rs 10000/-,but for month of FEB it is coming as 200/-
