We have updated our central master data server to pass new longer China Tax ID number in DEBMAS & CREMAS, where it is stored in a separate IDOC segment E1LFA1A in STCD5 field.
We have two older systems that cannot accept the new STCD5 field and we would like to use an IDOC conversion rule to continue using the VAT Registration Number field (STCEG) for those targets.
In the BD79 rules, it seems like you can only use other fields from within the same segment. Has anyone been able to read from a separate segment to do field level conversions?
