I am working on SAP BW 3.5 Version
I activated Business Contents for Sales and Distribution (SD) Module from SAP R/3 System
Data Source
Description Name of the Data Source
Sales Order Item Data (As of 2.0B) 2LIS_11_VAITM
Sales Order Header Data (As of 2.0B 2LIS_11_VAHDR
Billing Document Data: Items (As of 2.0B) 2LIS_13_VDITM
Billing Document Header Data (As of 2.0B) 2LIS_13_VDHDR
for this Standard Cube is
Info Cube 0SD_C03 Sales Overview
and for Extra Modification I Created one Customised Cube that is
Info Cube ZSD_C03 Sales Overview Detail
in this Cube I am using Standard Objects only.
now my Requirement is I need to add extra Customised Objects and load Data from Flat File Source System. That object are;
Product Group - (attribute) we need maintain in 0MATERIAL ID
Projection Value - (Key Figure) also.
now my Question is * What is Procedure for this Requirement in BW 3.5 *
Please let me know, because it is urgent Requirement.
I will Provide full points.

For loading data from Flat File you have to create update rules for the same customised Info Cube.and The Info Source should be select as Flat File... source system.then only you can load data from Flat File.....
For this you ahve to create Transfer and Communication structure..
For adding Prod grp you ahve to maintain in 0MATARIAL object.
Let me know details....after you did the above process..

Hi SKR,
If u know the extract structure(File structure how u will get to load the data) then u have to create a DS in BW by using that strucuture and the remaining will be the same......
First create the cube and then the IS and assign the DS to that info source.... Give the update rules and create info package to that DS and give the file location and load the data....
Assign points if it helps........

The procedure is one and the same, how you load the data from a flat file. In your case you need to create the Infosource to upload the data from flatfile with the same communication structure. Once after that, you need to create the Update rules to your customised infocube based upon the newly created Infosource. ONce after that, create the infopackage and load the data...

Let me tell you in a clear way,
You have the customised cube and if you want to enhance the cube with two jmore objects then you need to delete the data from the cube first and then you need to go to the change mode of the query, there just insert your object under the dimension (Product Group) and the keyfigure under the keyfigure area. Now activate your cube and then create the update rules for the same and schedule the data from the Info Package.
