Partial delivery inspite of Complete delivery flag

Hi Friends,

We could able to create partial deliveries in a sales order eventhough "Complete delivery" tick is marked.

For eg: i have created a sales order 123 which contains 5 items and all are PTO items. We have converted PR thus generated for 3 items into PO and created subsequent documents.

Eventhough, this Sales order not fully confirmed we could able to create delivery for the items.

Kindly help, why system is considering this Sales order when we are creating deliveries in background mode

Please tell me what do you mean by delivery in background mode, what is the transaction you are using for that?

ZHi,

May be from background job program is calling VL10A or VL10 G transactions to create deliveries.Pls. check it.

I am using VL10D Transaction code to create deliveries in back ground mode.

Hi,

Is it outbound process for purchase orders right?

But you have mentioned in the question it's for sales orders.even if it for sales orders from VL10 A transaction,we have list of items in the display.so if some items not have confirmes qty. you can still do delivery using this transaction.

Remember the sales order status still showing Open due to unconfirmed qty. for items.

I am sorry i am using Transaction vl10c to create deliveries from Sales orders.

yes the sales order status shows open but my question is inspite of putting "Complete Delivery" flag at header level and some items are not yet confirmed even then i could able to create delivery for some items (items whose confirmation date is already met)

Hi,

You have to check item Status in the sales order,the complete delivery concept is once you do the delivery then only it will activated in the sales order item level.

For Header level status you sales order should complete delievry for all the items and the status of the sales order should be Completed.

For you case there are unconfirmed items still in the sales order,that is why header status is not delevered.

Still having problems check is there any reason for rejection put inthe item which are not confirmed.

Hi Chandra,

Sales order was marked for complete delivery when creating this document. My issue is although the order is flagged for complete delivery , deliveries are getting created for some of the lines even when stock is not available for all the lines.

My issue is not yet solved.

Hi,

Can you check availabilty check is working fine or not?

Also check negative stock indicator is activated in material master record plant data view.
