Reset SAPJSF password, server0 is stopped

Hi,

I've reset SAPJSF password but did not reset the password in the config tool global server. And I've restarted the server. Now it shows that server0 is stopped. I can't get into Visual admin either.

How can I solve this issue? Please help!

      Hi there,

      Solution given by SAP below:

      Open Config Tool, go to cluster-data -> Global Server Configuration -> Services -> com.sap.security.ume.service

      Select the properties ume.r3.connection.master.xxxx and set the correct parameters as per http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f0/06093f7c392e5ae10000000a114084/frameset.htm

      You will see that when specifying the ABAP engine information in the UME properties, you can do so by

      a) Using Logon Groups

      b) Using Host Name and System Number

      DO NOT use a combination of both. Save changes.

      After that, please go to cluster-data -> instance_IDxxxxxx -> server_IDxxxxxx50 -> Services -> com.sap.security.ume.service

      You should not see any local configurations there. If any configuration occurs there, please select it and click "Restore to global" button.

      If you have more than one server node under instance_IDxxxxxx, please check if there is any local properties in com.sap.security.ume.service.

      Then restart the cluster.
