hi gurus,

i have reqt i.e, when the customer any two materials, the company want to give the third material at free of cost. for this wat is the configuration.

Dear sai krishna,

Activate free goods pricing in IMG -Sd - Basic function- freegoods.

maintain R100 condition type in pricing procedure.

set Item category determination the following way.

doc type(OR)item categ gp(NORM)usage ()+higher level item categ(Tan i.e. item category of main item)= free goods item category.(tann)

Now at the time of order creation whenever you feel to send free item ,

put it in the line item with whatever itemcategory it determined. inthe same line there is "Hitem category colomn" assign here the sequence no of main item. i.e. 10,20or whatever your free item will automatically get converted to TANN .

and Maintain the condition records thru t.code VBN1

IN Item category determination the item usage should be FREE

and for item category TANN the pricing field should be B(pricing for free goods)

hi kirshna,

do you mean for 2 different material u want to give a thrd material as free of cost ,whioch i believe is not possible in sap.

u can only give for one material only one other material can be given free of cost.

ex:material x material y can be given free of cost ,but when u buy x + y u cant give z materila free of cost which is not posssible in standard sap.

Hi Sai,

Goto SD basic functions and set your free goods configuration.

The most important thing is your material master item category grp.Set the Higher level item category grp of your original material and the general item category grp as he free goods.Free goods item category id TANN.

thanks for response, but in free goods dermn if one material is ordered then another material is given as free. then how can u set as two materials buy then third one is free. if u know could u tell me in detail.

hi sai krishna,

Standard sap does not support for 2 different material giving third material free of cost.u have to try some user exits for that.
