QM Notification

Dear All,

Could anyone explain to me the purpose of QM Notification and at what stage of the QM process will its come into the picture?

What are the relevant T/code for QM Notification?

Hi yen,

Q.M Moti .---it's importance is that during production of a product in a shop floor some defects can occur in that product or in a lot hence it becomes very necessary to record the defect --it's type i.e how severe it is . So to heve a record of all the defects occured in a lot A Q.M .noti is maintained in SAP . It is maintained by T.CODE =QM01 ---Here the first field to enter is the type of defect --- vendor related , via customer, or via material.

This notification can come in picture at the time of goods reciept & at the time of inhouse prod.
