STATUS MANAGEMENT IN BP

Hi All,

I m trying to fix the status management in BP. I did that one by SPRO and in status management. It,s coming fine. But one issue in that one I aded the status as 1) Active and 2) Inactive. If I give active first it is ok and then if I change to Inactive it is coming also in bp status management. But my question is if after doing inactive If I want to bring back to active position I m not seeing any value in status management. Can u suggest me regarding this?

Maximum points will be rewarded.

Thanx

Chinmaya

    Hi Parida,

Question to you, what did you put on high and low value for Active & Inactive status?

For Inactive status, the Low value should within Active position value.

    For example :

    Position Status Low High

    10 Active 10 20

    20 Inactive 10 20

If your low value for Inactive is higher than Active Position, then it will not allow you

to set Active status once the Inactive status has set.

For example (active status cannot be set once inactive status is set):

    Position Status Low High

    10 Active 10 20

    20 Inactive 20 20

Other thing you may need to check is the Business Transaction for Active and

Inactive. They may possible restriction made so that once Inactive set, it trigger the

system status where no longer any status change.

    Hope this helps.

    Gun.
