Business One Integration with Non-SAP Systems

I am working on setting up a Scenario where a File will be dropped into File System & then imported in to SAP Business one to create Sales Order in SBO.

I am not able to define a System in System Landscape in Control Center with System Type other than SAP System. I tried creating a new XML file at following location "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\B1iXcellerator\setup\com.sap.b1i.repository\SysType.xml". But it is not reflecting in Control Center.

Please help.....

Hi Yogesh,

As far as I know, the base Subsidiary Integration code does not contain a BIU that will support this scenario. You would have to write your own integration content to do this.

As far as your query regarding the SysType.xml file, you will need to go to your B1i Control Center (accessible from Start --> SAP Business One Integration --> Control Center), then click on the upload link, and then browse to the file location. You will also need to ensure that this file is being uploaded to the appropriate path in the Control Center (via the second drop down box).

Thanks for your reply. I tried Uploading the XML as you mentioned. But I am now getting Script Error on Docsel.bfd. So I have raised OSS Message & Will let you know when this things moves forward.

Hi Yogesh,

What script error are you getting? Have you checked whether your browser settings are allowing the Control Center to function? A couple of things to check for include whether javascript is allowed, whether ActiveX objects are enabled, etc.

Hi Yogesh,

Based on the screen shot you sent me, I would guess one of the following possible causes:

1) Your browser settings are preventing the javascript from running. Try to enable all of the JavaScript / ActiveX options on yor browser.

2) There is a 'null' part of BizStore URI that you are uploading the file to. Ensure that all of the values (Dataset, Group, Alias, Keyval) are set.
