Hi all ,

How to check the updated RG23A P1/P2 , 23C P1/P2 REGISTERS.?What are the different entries in the registers ?

What are other different registers need to be maintained as per excise law?

What is the concept do PARTIAL CENVAT credit?

Answer -- Registers are updated in T code J2i5 there you can get information which register needs to be updated. Only difference is that 50 % of excise value in case of Capital goods go to onhold and only 50 % is available in Register.To see resigters you can go in T code J2I6.

RG23A (Part 1 and Part 2)

RG23C (Part 1 and Part 2)

PLA

RG23D

RG1

<b>What is the concept do PARTIAL CENVAT credit?</b>

Suppose you are suppose to take 10000 rs of CENVATE credit from excise authorities and if you take only 5000 this is parital cenvate credit.

Hi Kapil

Through T- Code J2I5 you can absract the Part 1 & part 2 entries For Register RG23 A&C

in this you will have to select the Excise Group, Start Date and End date

and T-Code J2I6 is used to Print these registers

as far as partial credit is concern this term is used in case of RG23C register

50% duty is Availed at the time of Post Cenvat and rest is Tranfered to Next Fiscal Yers
