Any ideas on how to implement new customer fields in an SD billing document ?

Found a BADI : BADI_SD_CUST_HEAD but it says its for SAP internal use and has been implemented using implementation WB2_IVGUI_LAYOUT_H for Global Trade.

    Hello Suniti,

please check USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZC).

This user exit is only called when the billing document is created. It is used to provide the header and the item of the new billing document with deviating or additional data.

But this userexit does not create any screen input for the additional fields. The only poss. screen input seems to be using the BADI.

I have now done the foll :

      1. Manually altered table SXS_ATTR for entry BADI_SD_CUST_HEAD and reset the Internal Use Flag

      2. Deactivated the WB2 implementation

      3. Created my own implementation and activated it.

      Seems to be working OK.

Only worry now is reg. step 1 above 'cos its not exactly above board. Any thots ?

      Cheers
