How to replicate views in bp

Hi All,

I want to bring some views like CRM Pharma: Occupational/Organizational Grouping, CRM Pharma: Branch of Study, CRM Pharma: Additional Qualification, CRM Pharma: Position, CRM Pharma: Function and CRM Pharma: Market Segmentation to any tab of bp. I added thes values to my BP role in Tcode BUPT. Still these fields are not coming to picture.

Can I get the correct answer how to get thes fields in BP role.

Points will be rewarded.

Hi Jameen,

Thanx for ur answer. Actually I did in that one. i,e BUPT, BP. Divisibility, BP VIEWS. I added the views to the BP role. But still it is not showing any field in BP role. Can anybody tell me the other solution how the bp views will come in BP role?

Hi,

You added the dataset to the bp views but did you add the right calling application to the BP views. If yes,

Then check the SPRO setting for the field group. Go to SPRO transaction

Cross-Application Component=== SAP Business Partner === Settings for Field Groupings === Field groupings per Role. See the settings here.

Thanx for ur prompt answer.

I m seeing thes fields u r talking about in field grouping. I have added the calling application to bp views and added these application to bp. But in Bp it is not coming. Let me clear about u what i had done?

I added tha views to dataset, views to calling application, views to screen sequence, and views to view. Still it is not coming in bp role. Can U tell me where I did wrong?

Hi Parida,

Here you can generate the screen which relate to the configuration screen you

have made. For example the changes are in the tab Address screen, then try to

re-generate the screen here.

Hi Hasim,

Let me tell u what I did here. Open tcode BUSP. Screen is like client, Application object BUPA, screen BUPA PHA010. Idid nt mark any to values. Then I checked the flag on all screens. Then generated it. Then while saving it I gave the variant name and then marked on onlt on background processing and protect variant. Lastly in object for selection screen in required field i flag on application object,screen, and all screens and saved it. still I check the bp role also these fields are not coming.

Plz help me in this one. What I have to do again?

Hi Smita,

I checked that. All the fields what I require those are displaying. I think this will be displayed in Pharmaceutical tab page which is already exist in scree sequence of BUPT screen. Can u tell me if the tab page is already exist in screen sequence how to get it? Which i posted in this thread.

How to bring back the tab?

I think If I will be able to add Pharmaceutical tab in BP role then all the fields what I want it will show.

Hi Chinmaya,

A tab is nothing but a screen and it is assigned to a screen sequence.

It goes like this

You assign a field group to View. View conatins the dataset name. This view you assign to sections and sections to screen and screen to screen sequence.

Now you need to go to the transaction BUSD and assign the data set to the BP view ( there is diff between view and BP view). You also assign the Calling applications. The dataset and calling application you can get from transaction BUS3.

Also, check whether this application is active in transaction BUS1.( check this point once).

If I have not answered your question, explain it in detail.
