maximum daily working time in Business by Design

In Austria, the daily maximum working time is in most cases 10 hours/day.

Is there any solution to limit a time type, e.g. the "actual hours worked" in the timesheet?

So that the users get an error or warning message if they enter more than 10 hours (per day).

Dear Simon,

As we checked the configuration for time accounts for employees, it is not possible to limit a maximum amout of hours that can be booked so the system display a warning/error message.

Employees can book any amount of hours to the time accounts. On the other hand, there is a possibility to check if the amount of hours will exceed a business limit through an approval process. This way the employees will release the time records, and a manager will approve or reject these recordings according to the business limit defined (in this specific case, the manager would check whether the employee recorded more than 10 hours per day).

We would suggest you to access our Customer Influence portal, where you can find similar enhancement ideas, and also post this suggestion for future product improvements.
