Hi,
What is the difference in setting the Application data of a JCO conection to User Id/ password and SSO. What it make the difference in accessing the backend system to get data into Web dynpro Java. Set application data model to userid/password in JCO needs configuration of all portal users individually to backend user id or it mean all portal users mapped to a single backend user id.
Kindly help ....

Hi,
When Application data of a JCO conection is set to
-> SSO : Logged in User's Data is accessed from the backend
->Uid/Pwd : Only the user's data whose userid is mentioned in the JCo can be accessed
Note: if u use UserID/Passwd in the application data JCo, irrespective of who logged in, Only the user's data whose userid is mentioned in the JCo will be accessed.
For this all users need to have a user in the backend and as well in the portal
Hope this is helpful
Regards,
Kiran Joshua
