Urgent:-Task to send userdecision mail to MS outlook from workflow

Hi all,

Can any body please tell me what is the task (standard) used to send workitems to the MS Outlook .....I am using MAPI and i want to send the approva/reject decission to the users MS outlook.....so please tell me the standard task number or name ....

its very urgent...

Hi,

For you situation send a mail form workflow to MS outlook and mention it that you have receive a Approval Request or workitem in SAP inbox. If you are Using Portal just give the Portal link in the Mail content.

Let them click it and log on to the portal and approve the Request.

Hi Sarmistha,

First of all don't use urgent in you subject, as it says in the forum guidelines.

What is your problem exactly, you say you use the MAPI (if you mean the one for the outlook integration that has not been supported by SAP for quite a while now). If it is the one for outlook integration, you should see all the tasks in outlook.

So please be more specific in your problem and set-up.

Hi Sarmistha,

I don't know the standard task for sending mails to external id. But you can just add a step Send mail and choose the recipient type as E-mail and give the mail id. It will work. Else you can use the program RSWUWFML2 to send the workitem to the external id.
