When do we go for MD43 (i.e. Single Item Interactive Planning)

PP members:

Before MD04, we do planning using MD02 ( Single Item Multilevel planning) which plans for all BOM levels

When do we go for MD43 ( Single Item Interactive Planning)

Please elucidate on the above

It will plan for the material you eneterd in MD03 selection screen, not the BOM components.

Basically the difference in between MRP & MPS is only MRP type in Material Master Data MRP-1 view. If you use MRP type as "PD" then system will bound you to use only MD01 series...and if you use MRP type as "M0/1/2/3/4", then system restrict you to use series MD40.. But in any case once you carried out MRP of higher level assy, it will allow you to work with either of MRP type.

Material Type MRP type MD40 series MD01 series

FERT D Will not work Will work

HALB PD Will work Will work

HALB M0/1/2/3/4 Will work Will not work

    cheers!!!
