external mail not working

hi all,

i have scheduled the program rswuwfml2 for sending mails to internet address for the users. for which i have also maintained automatic forwarding settings in so16 . and in su01 i have specified the users email id. but i also need internal sap mails to go . as well as external mail if there is a new work item ,

wat should i do in su01 and so16 and also in so13 for office settings.

Hi,

If the External Mail not going it may because for the following condition.

1) For use WF-BATCH, check the mail id mentioned

2) In the SCOT Transaction check the Correct ip Address is mentioned.

Check the Above thing with Basis.

Hi Kasi,

If you need to send the mails to external id, the program which you r using is enough. If it is not going still, then check the scot settings. check whether it is waiting there or not. If it is there, then ask Basis to configure the scot. You can execute workitem from mail also based on the settings u r giving in that program.
