    Hi Kumar,

Validation in SAP is used to check the user input for specific fields when entering data

into SAP and returns a message Warning/Error/Inofrmaiton if prerequisite are set.

    Create Validastion in T-code: GGBO

    Activate validation in : 0B28

Creation Example: When ever user is entering data in Company code:XXXX busienss area should

be: YYYY. else user should get the error.

    IN GGBO create Validation

    Create STEP

    in prequsite check the following

If Company code: XXXX and Businss area :YYYY

    else

Message: Business area should not be allowed.

Substitution in SAP is used to substitute the field value without the user knowledge when

    saving the document.

    Create Substituion GGB1.

In the above example you want to eneter zzzz in business area field. if user enter yyyy

n=in business area it will be substitured by zzzz without the user knowlege.

    Best Regards
