Hello,
I need hints about process chain because I am building one with the following steps:
1- Start Process
2 - Delete Index Cube
3 - Load Infopackage with Current Month/Current Year
4 - DTP to Cube
5 - Delete overlapping request (because it will be full load more than once in the month)
6 - Create Index / Send Message
The problem is that I am getting error messages using this sequence. Could you please help?
Thanks & Regards,
Adriana
1- Start Process
2 - Delete Index Cube - > Have you given cube name here
3 - Load Infopackage with Current Month/Current Year - > Are you automating this with a Routine
4 - DTP to Cube - > Execute DTP
5 - Delete overlapping request (because it will be full load more than once in the month) - > Object Type should be DTP and DTP Tech Name used in the step 4.
Have you set up deletion selections like - Flag Full or Initial Load - Flag Datasources are same - Selections Are " Same or Comprehensive "
6 - Create Index / Send Message
What is the error message anywas ?

Could you pls explain me about the use of deletion selections & when we use???
In case of delta, there is no need for delete overlapping request.
For Full loads...
For Eg : InfoPackage with Selection Cond - 0FisPer = 010.2007 in available in the target...There are no options
1) Delete load/request thats exists in target irrespective of selections
OR
2) Delete load/request thats exists in target only of the selection condition is same or more comprehensive...
Is that process chain steps are different for Full & delta load??
To my knowledge it makes sense if the steps you have mentioned for process chain is correct if it is executed for Full Loads...
Wat error ur getting???? R u getting it when activating??

Malar
