Apostrophe character conversion

Hi, we are experiencing a problem due to the fact that the hexa code for the apostrophe character when it is typed directly in the BSP (htmlb:textEdit) is not the same as when the user pastes a text from another application. When I debug, the code when typed = 27 and copied = 92. It makes a difference when the text entered is transferred from SAP to other applications, the '92' apostrophe is displayed as another character. Rather than asking the users to retype all apostrophe when they copy text in the BSP, I would like to convert '92' apostrophe into '27'. Is there any way to do this ? Please help !
