SPRO Customizing for Busness Partner creation screen

Hi All,

Just a quick question about customizing the create Person screen within the BP transaction. At the moment the create Person screen is set up such that the First name and Last name are both mandatory fields.

I went into SPRO and checked the field grouping for these fields.

Apparently, there's only one table entry for both. So i can either mark both as mandatory or not req etc etc..at the moment its like they are one field.

Is there a way to change this in SPRO, such that both fields are individal again. I want the First Name non mandatory and the Last name as mandatory.

Is this a config based issue or are we looking at coding some changes here?

Any help will be much appreciated and rewarded.
