Can't enter the correct cell position.

Crystal reports is forcing me to enter below 256 but it has already put it at a number higher than this, I want to enter a number greater than 256, how can I do this?

I don't understand your question. What are you trying to enter?

    Can we get more details?

What is the object? Text box, OLE object, field?

Units of measurement? Cm or inches?

Vertical or Horizontal? X position or Y?

Are you saying you want to move the object for more than 2.55 meters from the left edge of the paper?

    • Ok, got it, reproduced the behavior and found a solution:

Click View > Preferred Viewing Locale and Select English (United States)

It should change the Unit of measurement from cm to Inches.

In inches it allows to pass the limit. 255 cm = 100 inches. I was able to place object at 250 inches.

Then you can change the Locale back and objects will be at the same positions.

      Let me know

    Sorry Dell,

The 'position' of an entity on the report, it won't let me enter a number higher than 256 but I can drag it past that point.

    Thanks

    Hi,

It's any type of object, but mainly text & field.

    Units are cm

    Horizontal, X position.

    Thanks.
