Hi Guys I have done ecc6.0 installation of 2 Individual Sap systems.
Lets say DEV & QAS
As part of my Post Installtion When i Configured STMS in DEV with Virtual systems they are in 1 transport group
but after installing Quality & included in DEV as real system everything is fine but when i went
STMS->Overview->systems
Goto->Transport groups it is taking in to 2 groups that is
Group_DEV & Group_QAS
So i Believe there is no CTD., if this is the case will my transports will be smooth or is it mandatory to get all the systems in to CTD.
If u have any solution plz advice with step to step resolutions.
Regards,
Rahul.
Hi,
You already configured Virutal sytem,so that it is showing like that.Other wise you can configured STMS one more time.Selecting option as a External System.

Dear Deepanshu ,
Actually I changed the parameter DIR_TRANS in QAS .
For ex-
SAPMNT\QUALITY\TRANS
TO
SAPMNT\DEVELOP\TRANS
But when i chek the the consistency of Transport Directory
DEV is fine
but for QAS cannot write TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL as a result
my QAS Trasport Directory is inconsistent.
I think my QASADM cannot manage to read the file it is shared with all the permissions.
Hope my issue is clear.

Hi Deepanshu ,
What i did is i logged in to Development system
T-Code STMS
Overvew----> Systems
Now selected the QAS system
Double click on that Then go to Communications TAB
Clicked on Change Display There in Transport Group
I Changed Group_DEV to Group_QAS
Now when i check Transport Groups they are in 1 group
as im doing it on windows i beleive there will be no mount points.
Warm Regards,
Rahul

Hi Rahul,
You can share the folders trans in windows using sharing folder option.
Before sharing it delete the qas domain controller and then try to share dev trans folder and then go to dev and approve qas system and define transport route to 2 system landscape.
Please let me know if it solves your problem.
Cheers
Deepanshu
Hi there,
Firstup all please do the mount of /usr/sap/trans from dev to qas system and go to stms in qas delete old domain and include domain of dev.
Then go to dev and approve qas system and define transport route to 2 system landscape.
I hope it will work.
Cheers
Deepanshu
