Moving Consignment Stock without Charge.

Hi,

I have had an issue where some delivery paperwork has been done twice, therefore 2 lots of the same product have been booked in when in reality there is only 1.

This product is under Consignment stock.

How do I move the Consignment Stock to my plant, without it billing the vendor as it doesn't exist and I don't want to pay them twice. I'm thinking a MIGO Movement but I wouldn't know what type it would be.

Why don't you just cancel the incorrect movement?

Would the vendor get notification of this? I just don't want them to come back and say they want billing for it.

he would get notified it you take something away (moving to your own stock) as this creates an entry in the file for the liabilities, your idea does not work at all.

He does not get notified about your wrong postings in a goods receipt, so he does not not get notified if you correct those wrong postings.
