is it possible to restrict particular account assignment category to a paricular item category ?

if it possible please give the configuration steps for that

Hi,

It is in fact, a mandatory configuration without which you can't even create a purchasing document in MM.

It must be assigned to item category. The combination must be defined in:

MM>Purchasing> Account Assignment--> Define combination of Item Category and Account Assignment Categories.
