Urgent!!Characteristics Length Exceeds 60!!

Hi All,

Can you xplain is there anyway to get the characteristic length of 1000 in BI 7.0??I am extracting the data from SRM for char. question..

I am getting the long text fully...

Pls give me some ideas to get the whole text in BW..

It is my understanding that BI 7.0 still doesn't allow for infoObjects greater than 60 characters. It was discussed in the BI Delta course however I don't know if this will ever change in future rollouts.

At this point, you can opt to use the temporary workaround defined under

/people/sap.user72/blog/2006/05/27/long-texts-in-sap-bw-modeling

Good luck and assign points were granted....even if it is bad news.

Thnx for ur response..Even I am doutful that whether can do in BI & also for any method of data extraction.

Is that the one he xplained is only applicable for Analyzer,not possible in Netweaver???
