import excel order purchase error

We are developing an addons to a customer. This client have the following configuration: Server with Windows 2003 Server and SQL Server 2000, and the Work Station with Windows XP Professional. The version of Sap Business One that has is installed: 2005A SP01 PL22 in both.

The function of the addons is to import for a file Excel to SBO one Order Purchase.

This have run well in the server and in the computer of development that have Windows 2003 Server as system operative, however this don’t run correctly in the work station of the client because when the order purchase is created, the quantity and price of the lines of the document are blank, but the file contain data for those fields.

We have reinstalled the SAP Business Client and DI API, and the O.S. in the work station but the addons doesn’t run correctly.

How has it solved?

    Hello Rafa,

    Are you trying to import data via VBA / DI API?

    I had tried such things as well some time back - and some things worked well, but others surprisingly didn't, but that may just be due to some specifics I didn't know... you have the same version of Excel / VBA on both systems?

    ...and then there could (and will?) still be some coponents (DLLs) different between the 2 systems... - maybe check at least the statically linked DLLs with Depends.exe (I hope you have MS Visual Studio or so?)?
