Changing materials stock according to BOM (production ?)

Hello

I'd like to implement the following business scenario:

- You have a material BOM defined in the system;

- You have some stock of materials defined as components in this BOM;

- Now you want to get some of those component materials and change their stock into

a stock of material which is the main material of the BOM (produce the main material

using its components according to BOM specification). The quantity of components used

in this process should be controlled by the data conatained in the BOM.

I guess this can be achieved by some functionality in the PP module, can you give me

an idea what process will handle such scenario ? Or an overview of what configuration should I perform or what documentation should I read ?

Thanks

regards

    Hi

    Inshort you just need to create an prodcution order.Pl use the T.Code CO01 to create the Production order for main material and assign the BOM to this..

    Do the Goods Issue against this production Order using t.Code MB1A ( or you can use the backfluing function at the time of Prodcution Order confirmation )

    Confirm the prodcution Order and do the Good Receipt..

    Again you just need to follow the Production Order functionality for this..

    Pl come back if you need further details..

    Rewards will be appriciated..
