Query Generator

The thing is When we Generate a Query we get a result in the form of values assigned in '-' neagtive form,i.e., instead of branch name we get the result in Numbers and in these some are defined with negative values. Why is it so? P.S.the company was a demo one. is it because of that? and if so where are these values defined and how?

    Hi Neel

If I understand your problem correctly then the negative no's you are getting when executing the query could be a no when no branch is defined for that row.

If you run a query on Sales Employees - Select * from OSLP you will note that the value -1 is for -No Sales Employee-.

To get the branch name instead of a no you must create a join between the tables. and use branch name instead of branch code.
