    hi ravi,

yes it is possible, to assign both plants to one company codes:

but currency will differ, for that you have to maintain the exchange rates,

    currency conversion.

    hope this may help you.

    Hi

It would be definitely better to assign the plants to different compnay codes , As they are loacted in two different countries.

It would be easy to mange the plants & compnay codes in that way.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,

I would not suggest this. Its better to create Co code for USA.

your are legaly bind at company code level when compared at plant level.

    Thanks

    Hi Ravi,

If you have 2 Plants which are operating in different countries, only thing is that you have to maintain the different Currencies of respective countries.

If your balance sheet of these 2 plants are maintained under the same company code then you have to assign these 2 plants to that single company code.

Then you need to activate the Material ledger to maintain the local currency & Group currency in order to maintain the balance sheet in company code local currency.

If your Balance sheet are different in different country then go for different company code and assign the plants according to it which will be easy for transactions.
