TCode MD04 & MD05

What are transactions MD04 & MD05. What is difference between data displayed in these two transactions.

Hi Nilesh,

to start with after you run MRP, you get MRP List which is static, that is it shows results of MRP only. It will show the same results till you run the next MRP.

Stock Requirement list is Dynamic, this gets updated whenever there is change in status of material. So this list always give you a updated status.

to run MRP, First you have to customize your plant parameters in CBP.

Next you have to select and enter data in MM Record - MRP Views.

You need to have Info Record for the Material / Vendor combination.

You need to have Source list.

then you run the MRP.

MD04: Stock requiremenmt list: which gets updates any c hanges in stocks & requirements instantly.

MD05: MRP list which will get updates during MRP run.

In a sense soon after MRP RUn both MD04 & MD05 are same.

MD04 : dynamic instant updation.

MD05: statick list . In asense, it get updated only during MRP RUN.

Hi,

MD04 is called dynamic transaction which gives us online results like stock avl, planned orders,PR , PO etc

MD05 --is MRP lists in you can see the date and time you have run MRP.
