Useful life after ABUMN

Hi All,

I am transfer the assets by using ABUMN. Problem is that When I transfer the asset in new asset its taking the old useful life.

There is any std. way so that we can pick the automatically remaning useful life in new assets after the ABUMN.

Example :- Before the transfer asset in master record useful life is 7 yrs and we are transfering the assets after two years then its showing again 7years in new assets. it should be 5yrs .I know we can do change this manualy but any other std way for automatic change.

Points would be assign this is urgent issue.
