Is it possibel and allowed to use analysis path framework on a fiori frontend server without HANA (no HANA, no S/4HANA, no Suite on HANA)?

Without S/4HANA or Suite on HANA there are certain parts of APF missing. This is especially concerning infrastructure and services for configuration and path persistence as well as roles and Fiori content for APF. Therefore APF cannot be used without one of those. HANA is not necessarily required as in S/4HANA the APF persistence is on the Fiori frontend server and S/4HANA backend and as data sources BW Easy Queries may be used without HANA.
