Difference Between GP and General Approvel Process?

hi,

I had uploade a document in KM and i had sent it for approvel and the process is approved.I'am able to do Creation ,Approvel and Publishing process in KM.but i want to know what is the difference between this process and GP which is used for Adobe forms.Please tell me the differnce between this two.

Hi Pradeep,

Guided Procedures has nothing to do with the approval process in SAP KM.

There are not enaugh bytes out there to write down the differences ;o)

So I try to show off some similarities:

• Both technologies come with SAP NetWeaver and integrate into Portal

• Both are able to implement some kind of workflow like behaviour

• They both are (KM) or may be (GP) focused on documents

• Both have access to the UME as user store

Please be more precise if you need some more help.
