Back up the Data in the data Dictionary level

Hi,

good day experts,

i would like to know how to back up the data in data dictionary.

if i data lost in the data base level. may be back up will be helpfull . can any one give me solution for this one.

    Hi Kiran,

    Not sure whether there's a SAP recommended way to do this but below are two options I would use.

    1. Function module: DOWNLOAD_TABLE_AS_TEXT

    2. Function module: SQLD_DOWNLOAD_SE11.

    Hi Kiran

    There may not be any need for such a backup as with regular back ups the data loss is minimal in case of any unforeseen circumstance. Transactions like DB12 will help to view the back up logs etc..
