how do i print the Purchase order or PR list or any other report

Hi Noel,

Go in MN04 to set up output condition for the output.

Look in the match code if any output is already define. For me, the print output is ZNEU : Medium 1, Date 4, and in communiacation check the Comm Strategy CS01, ant the Output Devide LOCL.

If not, it is a heavy work to set up one output...let me know I'll try to explain you step by step !

i tried to set the po printing thru MN04 but i gives me an error

"THIS OUTPUT HAS NOT BEEN DEFINED FOR MEDIUM 1 AND PATHNER FUNCTION $1

Please help me with the above error.

Hi Noel

Try to go in SPRO : <i>Materials Management/Purchasing/Messages/Output Control/Message Types/Define Message Types for Purchase Order/Maintain Message Types for PO</i>

Go in the output type you tried to set up in MN04, and set :

Default value : Send Immediatly (Dispathc time) and Print output (Transmission Medium), VN (Partner Function, FO if you work in French) Communication strategy CS01.

Then try again in MN04, and do not forget to go in Communication option while seting up the output to put the output device LOCL (Local Printer).

hi,

for purchase order you should have configured the message types and driver program alongwith your custom layout in smartform or sapscript. you can also use teh standard message type for a test print out.

reports can be wither extarcted to a excel on your desktop or print directly form teh report using the print icon at the top.

if the report is ALV, then you can also play around with the layout before taking a a printout.
