    WE02 - Display IDoc

    WE05 - IDoc Lists

1.WE05 and WE02 are both used for viewing/monitoring idocs.

There used to be a time that in WE02 you could put in Idoc number and view that idoc and you could not do that in WE05 ( older SAP version), WE05 showed you idoc based on other criteria. But in the newer versions both do almost everything .

There are a few differences in the selection criteria.

    2. and 3. These are workflow questions, check SAPs help on WORKFLOW which is pretty detailed.

    4. Mandatory segments means required segments. You can recieve Idoc without them but they might not post in SAP.

also there are some fields which are mandatory if those segments are passed.

meaning if this segment is present , then this field has to be present, but you can skip the whole segment.

Also example - The Control record segment is mandatory without it you cannot preoceed.

WE02 and WE05 both are attached to same program RSEIDOC2.

I think, the program RSEIDOC2 have two tcodes because of the autorization.

You can see the FORM AUTHORITY_CHECK_RSEIDOC2_DISP for more informaiton in report RSEIDOC2.
