Journal Entry Form (Goods Issue)

I am trying to figure out how do you get the Debit and Credit on the Journal Entry form after you list the items for Goods Issue and add it. After you add the document, there is a drill-down arrow next to "Journal Remark". You click on it and you'll see the Journal Entry form. How do you get the Debit and Credit?

Actually it is based on the setting in the administration module --> setup --> financial --> G/L account determination --> tab inventory. It is also related to item group or warehouse in the same module but in the inventory folder.

The workflow of SAP B1 is like that. All transactions will have journal entry and basically it will be debit or credit. it depends on the document you add. The setting I mentioned above is not effectively function without having chart of account defined.

so, you do not have to be a wonderer for that. Once again, the journal is automatically created by system. You actually could use journal entry but you will not play with item name, warehouse or etc..just with G/L account. let me know if problem still persists.
