IS SD MUST TO DO CRM

HI All,

Very recently I have enquired at Siemens and Genovate about SAP CRM course. I have 2.5 yrs experience and end user of SAP. They are saying SD certification is a must to get certified in CRM. Can I do my CRM certification without SD or comapnies insist on SD certification also.

Regards

AMK

    Hi Manish,

It is no prerequisite to do SD Certification for CRM.

Pls reconfirm with the training institutes, as many of the CRM Consultants do not have SD Certification done but are CRM Certified.

    HI

manish companies never insist you to get certified from sap crm , and it is not mandatory in indian job market, they will look into u r skill and offer you the job, so many sap certified consultants are there with out job, but it is always a plus point to have sap certification in crm it will fetch you in future careers when u r facing tough competetion from your competetors in the job then you can that you are certified , but as per the Indian job market scenario no company is demanding

SAP CRM certification is must, so develop the subject in crm later try for certification exam to write with real time exp there are more chances to pass with real time exp than ''no exp''

    Hope this will helpfukl

      Dear Manish,

I will also suggest you not to quit the current job. Try to do the certification parallely (may be taking leave during the training period). Also SD is not must for the CRM certification and till now SAP CRM has good demand in the market as it's a new dimension product (new versions CRM 5.1, 5.2...coming in the market with new architecture). You can go for Sales/Marketting for the certification.

      Thanks,

      Atin
