Control if a material is posted to unrestricted use or quality inspection

Is there a way in materialmaster I can set if I want the material default to be posted to quality inspection rather than unrestricted use?

You can use the 'Post to insp. stock' thick box on purchasing view of MM.

We are not using purchasing view on materials since we are not buying the materials, are there any other fields who control this?

We are using Waste & Recycling module in when we weigh in a material on plant, we need it for some materials to be posted to quality control. I thought maybe this could be controlled by material master..............

I don't know that module.

But AFAIK you can set this in material master record on:

- purchasing view

- work scheduling view

- quality view
